Description: Max was born in Hong Kong, China on 1995. His dad is a former Pokémon League Champion in Hong Kong who is also a professor in Taiwan in research for History of Pokémon and his mother is a Chinese medicine doctor. Because of that, he's been highly educated by his parents. He moved to Taiwan in 1999 and lived there until he started his travel in Japan.

Max showed highly interested on aviation and Pokémon ever since he was little. He is also a fast learner who can understand a lot of thing that was not even supposed to be learned by his age. In 2005, at the age of 10, Max create his own airline, Eurasia Airlines, in Hong Kong with the help of his father using the "Special Talent Youth Employment Law".

The business of Eurasia Airlines was a booming success. The airline promotes the supreme importance of costumer comfort in low prices. And the fact Max is the youngest CEO and President of the world made the world wonders and decided to try this "kiddy airlines". Within 3 years, Eurasia Airlines had grown into one of the largest airline in Asia.

In 2002, right after Red claimed championship in Indigo League, Max and his father Vincent visited Kanto for their summer vacation. His father brought him to Pallet Town where Max can get to know Professor Oak. There, he met Red and Green, who just came back from Indigo Plateau after the tournament. Max's knowledge toward Pokémon made deep impression to Red, who quickly became friend with Max. Max also received a Charmender from Professor Oak before he returned to Taiwan. That Charmender was named Charlie by Max and according to Professor Oak, Charlie is the little brother of Green's Charizard. Also, prior 2007, the way Max addresses Professor Oak was not "Professor Oak", but "Uncle Samuel".

What triggered Max to decide to start his own journey was in 2003 when he was in 3rd grade of his school. Ever since Max started 2nd grade he had been heavily bullied. And it reached the peak during his 3rd grade. That day, Max was chased into a supply closet by 2 bullies who accused him for tempering with their jackets, and shot projectiles like blooms, mops, etc. toward him. On the other hand, their Pokémon also used heavily Water-type attack to torture Charlie while their Trainers were torturing Max. It caused Charlie to fallen sick for 2 years and remained scared from Water-type Pokémon ever since until his evolution under his father's training. Max, on the other hand, was totally traumatized by the incident and he transferred school. He determined to become strong, like his father, on his own and started planning for his own journey. With the help with Vincent, he was finally be able to move out of Taiwan, settled in Littleroot Town, Hoenn, and started his own journey. Max left Charlie in Kaohsiung so he can be trained under Vincent to strengthen himself.

The main reason Vincent chose Hoenn for Max to start with is Vincent and Professor Birch are friends met during a scientific conference in 2002. Max himself personally knows Professor Birch and Sapphire for a while before he moved to Hoenn. Since Max first met Sapphire before the Salamence Incident, he was totally shocked at how Sapphire became wild. Max departed from Littleroot before Sapphire did because he rushed out right after he heard about how Ruby ran away from home. Of course, Max received his Pokémon: A Torchic whom he named Brendan, and his own Pokédex before he departed.

Max took a total of 80 days from his departure to collect all 8 badges in Hoenn region. When Max, along with Ruby and Sapphire, rescued by Juan and brought to Mirage Island, he accepted Juan's special training to strengthen himself in Single Battle and received Mind and Rain Badge at the same time for finishing his training. It was about 2 weeks before Ruby and Sapphire woke up. After Sootopolis Incident, he captured Rayquaza and used him in the Championship battle against Wallace, and stayed as one part of Max's party ever since.

Max announced the establishment of Pokémon Airlines on Sep. 20, 2006, the day that Ruby and Sapphire's 80 Days Challenge ends. He also challenged Hoenn Pokemon League shortly after and successfully defeated Wallace, claimed the title of Hoenn Champion during the Hoenn Pokémon League Tournament 2006 after a 5 hour battle between Max and Wallace. Max holds the title ever since and made Wallace the Champion with shortest term in Hoenn's history, with a little bit over 2 months.

Max stayed inactive during the FireRed/LeafGreen arc. When Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Silver were petrified in Sevii Island on Apr. 2007, Max was called by Professor Oak to meet him in Sevii Island under the recommendation of his dad. He took the news hard, for Red and Green were his friends before he became a Trainer. He was also the one who provided the information about Jirachi to Oak in order to help revive the seniors. He also trained under Kimberly with Gold and Crystal to learn the Ultimate Attack. He was the fastest among the three to finish the training. With a record of 3 days, Max is the sixth fastest Pokédex Holder to finish Kimberly's training, after Silver, Blue, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. During the Emerald chapter, Max returned to Hoenn with Gold and Crystal on July 6, 2007, during the sixth day of Emerald's Frontier challenge under Oak's dispatch plan to help fight Gulie Hideout and revive the seniors.

After becoming Hoenn Champion, Max decided to start studying for how can human and Pokémon communicate freely. He designed a device that can help human speak with Pokémon. He called it Pokétranslater. He seeks help from Professor Birch, who then directed him to Kanto region to ask for technical help from Silph Co. With help from Silph Co, Max finally completed the Pokétranslater in 2010 and he was being called "Communicator" by Professor Oak with the huge contribution in human-Pokémon communication.

In order to complete his Pokétranslater research and to seek a business chance to expand his aviation business into Japan, Max traveled in Johto and Kanto region in 2008. He again decided to start over and get himself his third Pokémon party. He also went to Silph Co. in Saffron city to finish his invention of Pokétranslater.

Max's third Legendary capture also happened in Johto. He found Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave and captured him, named him William. William is still one of Max's most important Pokémon he has.

In 2009, after Max finished his journey in Kanto and Johto, he deicded to live in Goldenrod City while making the city as his hub for Eurasia Airlines, Pokémon Airlines, and his new Era Airways. He built a new office building, which he named Eurasia Plaza, in Goldenrod City for him to handle his worldwide business. That is the reason why Eurasia Airlines Group has 2 working headquarters currently: Eurasia Airlines Center, located in Chap Lap Kok, Hong Kong, China, and Eurasia Plaza, located in Goldenrod City, Johto, Japan.

Max visited Sinnoh region in 2010 to pursue Sird, the Team Galactic undercover in Team Rocket who caused the petrification of seniors and near-destruction of Hoenn Battle Frontier three years earlier after he received intel of her presence in Sinnoh. He crossed path with Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum occasionally and fought Team Galactic alongside with them. Furthermore, Max took the responsibility with Riley to train Diamond in Iron Island under the request of Byron, the Canalave City Gym Leader. During his time in Sinnoh Max continued to collect Pokémon for his battle team and Gym badges in Sinnoh during his investigation on Team Galactic, and successfully collected all 8 Sinnoh badges. Max revealed his Champion identity to Sinnoh Trio and Cynthia after the trio released the Lake Guardian and escorted them to the Spear Pillar, where he finally located and confronted Sird. Sird escaped, but Max managed to injure her heavily. Despite of being regret that he let Sird escape, but he was glad that he avenged Red and others, as a Pokédex Holder, for their year-long suffering, and the Hoenn region, as its Champion, for the damage Sird indirectly caused.

While Diamond and Pearl departed after Spear Pillar in 2010, Max and Platinum headed to the Battle Frontier and assisted Platinum for her Frontier challenge as well as investigating for Distortion World. In fact, while Platinum was challenging Battle Factory, Max, along with Platinum and his own Pokémon, teamed up in a 12-Pokémon crew to save Buck and Looker. He also followed Palmer and Platinum and entered Distortion World, reunited with Paka and Uji, and joined the battle against Charon-controlled Garatina. With Dia on Dialga, Pearl on Palkia, and Platinum on Cresselia, Max chased Garatina and Charon on Raymond as well.

Max traveled to Unova region in New York, United States during March 2011. This time was the first time he had a partner with him: Bosco, his little brother, and Hilbert, the new Pokédex Holder from Nuvema Town. The three traveled in the region together, with the goal of conquering Gyms in the region, and ended up fighting head-to-head with Team Plasma. Max himself defeated Ghetsis as a result and reformed N.

Max returned to Unova once again two years later to gain his own title of World Champion in Driftveil Pokémon World Tournament. With Shadow Triad's failed kidnapping attempt, he learned that Team Plasma was revived under Ghetsis, kidnapped Red, Blue, Gold, and Ruby to Unova, and planned to takeover the region. Max, along with his best friend, Alex, and three more local Pokédex Holder--Nate, Rosa, and Hugh--crushed Team Plasma once again with the help of Hilbert and N. He took down Ghetsis personally the second time, and he kept Ghetsis' staff as his souvenir. After the ordeal, Max claimed his World Champion title in Driftveil City after defeating countless elite Trainers globally and entered the Global Hall of Fame as the first World Champion.

In present day, he lives in Goldenrod City, freshly returned from Kalos region in France, spending most of his time in Johto and Kanto with his seniors.

Personality: Max is intelligent and quick-wited. He tends to observe everything around him due to his curious and sometimes insecure mind. Max is also extremely royal and supportive toward his friends and relatives. He is also very organized and likes to organized things his own way. He dozes of sometimes and fell into daydreaming. Max is also somewhat forgotive on minor things, he can completely forget what other tells him within seconds. He is also fluent of Cantonese Chinese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and English. Through his Pokétranslater he can understand Pokémon language as well.

He is a justified, brave young men who always stands on the front lines. Max doesn't have the reckless trait that usually came along with braveness. He knows his limitations and won't push through the limit if he could. His motto, "Don't wear a hat larger then your head," clearly describes his clam, analytical personality that prevents him from pushing the limits too far.

Under his quiet, laid back appearance hides his sharp instinct and unique perceptions of many things, especially during crisis or facing important decision. He is also a critical thinker who analyzes and consider things in a much different way then a normal person does.

Socially he tends to be a loner and prefers doing things solo. He has a strong determination that he can't rest until he achieve what he set out to do. He is also surprisingly patient and can wait a long time without frustration. Unfortunately, sometimes his patience can be lost equally surprisingly fast. In other words, he is unpredictable on patience depending on his mood and priority. He also take things rather serious at times even when people around him are joking. That makes other people usually think Max has a lack of sense of humor.

Sometimes he can be a bit forgetful and irresponsible on trivial matters. However, he often takes most if not all responsibilities on something he feels extremely matters to him, and often takes them all by himself. He usually doesn't like asking for help with the reason being his insecurity often worries being held back or holding back others. Most of the time he would only ask for help when it's really necessary. He is somewhat trusting, and is backed by his cautious personality. He couldn't trust sometime who he thinks isn't trust-worthy at first glance unless they earned his trust.

Although he doesn't seem like it, but Max sometimes has a surprisingly short temper that he can go very indignant when it bursts. He would normally try to restrain his temper, but if he was provoked and frustrated whoever provoked him would have to pay dearly. So far, according to Max himself, this had happened about 4 times.

His battle strategy was completely balanced. His Pokémon usually know moves from different types so he can handle any opponents. But because of that, his Pokémon were actually needs longer training time then other trainer because he wants his Pokémon be evenly trained to have their battle power averaged. That also gives him advantage because that increased the difficulty of defeating him.

Max is a good friend with Alex Pearson, Red's little cousin who lived in Goldenrod City. The duo met each other during Alex's Trainer School's cosplay competition. The duo usually train together and they gave each other nicknames of "Hanbei" and "Kanbei".

Clothing: Max wears a brown jacket with the word "Eurasia" and Eurasia's logo on it in autumn and winter. He wears a white polo with red, green, blue, and green stripes crossing the middle, also with Eurasia logo and name on it in spring and summer. Sometimes he would wear a red or grey shirt with various colored t-shirt. He wears a pair of jeans and carries a snapback all year long. He also wears a pair of glasses with green legs and no glass frame.

Items:
Personal Laptop: Max can't travel with out it. His laptop is basically his most important travel equipment. It's an Toshiba 15.6" laptop with his Pokémon Storage System, Poké Radar, and Item Storage. It also has a fully functional Pokédex updated with latest information. He can also manage Eurasia Airlines from the laptop as well. The floowing is a list of key software inside the laptop.

Pokémon Storage System: Max installed this system with the help of Bill in 2010. This is the world's first portable Pokémon Storage ever created. The system is directly linked to Pokémon Storage System in Bill's house so Max can manage his team wherever and whenever he is.

Item Storage: This handful software inside the laptop is connected with a transfer pod. Max can obtain or deposit Items from meds to tents into or from his laptop. His Poké Balls are being managed with this pad, too.

Poké Radar: When Max is looking for a Pokémon, Poké Radar's the thing Max relies the most. It has real-time GPS technology that uses satellite to do real-time scanning that can cover anywhere in the globe with calculation error of less then a meter.

Pokédex: Max's Pokédex is the exact same model (Model III, Generation 3A) as Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. His Pokédex was intended to be Emerald's Pokédex when Emerald met Professor Oak in Goldenrod City. After Oak rejected Emerald the Pokédex was transferred to Hoenn to Professor Birch. Birch provisionally decided to give this third Pokédex, which was reserved to Emerald, to Max after Ruby and Sapphire got their Pokédex, and he duplicated a new one for Emerald (which was being flushed away during a flood and became Wally's temporary Pokédex).

Pokégear: Max got this Pokégear after he settled in Johto region. He used it to replace the Pokénav he used in Hoenn region. It has map, video phone, and radio function.

Mega Watch: Max obtained the Key Stone in Kalos region from Korrina's grandfather after he defeated Korrina in his Gym battle for his 45th Badge. With the Stone, he can use it to Mega Evolve numbers of Pokemon under his command during battle. He once said he wants to incorporate Key Stone into one of his favorite watch one day after his travel in Kalos. He made it after working with Mega Evolution guru and a local watch stores for days.

Pokémon:
As of May 2014, Max had a collection of 43 Pokémon from 6 different regions and they are still under his disposal. He would choose six of them as his "Main Party" and carries them around. Here is the list of the members of Main Party currently:

Charlie (查理)
Species: Charizard
Gender: Male
Ability: Blaze/Drought (Mega ability)
Nature: Modest, Mischievous
Held Item: Charizardite Y
Learned Moves: Heat Wave, SolarBeam, Dragon Pulse, Air Slash
Regional Team: N/A
Summery: Max's first Pokémon. Charlie was given by Professor Oak in 2002 when he was around 7. In Taiwan, he suffered the same bullying incident with Max when his "Trainer" was in third grade. Max left Charlie's care to his father, Vincent, for his recovery and training when Max set for Hoenn because Vincent believed even after 3 years of recovery, he wasn't suited for combat yet. Max and Charlie reunited in 2007 right before the Emerald Chapter and stayed with his Trainer ever since. Charlie is the younger brother of Green's Charizard, with a fierce sibling rivalry between them. Over 10 years of companionship resulted in his inseparable friendship with Max. Brave and modest, he often takes great responsibility of himself as a vanguard fighter in Max's team, yet he still retains a humorous personality since he was a Charmender. The drowning assault of water back in 2003 left him a slight aqua-phobic fear, and a superior resistance to direct water attack.

Marvin (馬文)
Species: Magnezone
Gender: Male
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Modest, Mischievous
Held Item: Air Balloon
Learned Moves: Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Magnet Rise, Flash Cannon
Regional Team: Hoenn
Summery: Marvin joined Max's party as a Magneton in New Mauville as New Mauville's guardian before it can be discovered by Konkonsai(ancestor of Trick Master)'s descendants. Marvin is one of the most mischievous Pokémon in Max's party and he always acts like the mood maker of the team as a Magneton. He evolved in Mt. Cornet right after the Spear Pillar Incident in 2007. His mischievousness stayed after evolving, yet he became a little more short tempered when he became mad.

Franklin (福蘭克林)
Species: Flygon
Gender: Male
Ability: Lavitate
Nature: Naughty, take plenty of siestas
Held Item: Yache Berry
Learned Moves: Dragon Claw, Fly, Rock Slide, Earthquake
Summery: A Flygon Max met in Route 111 as a Trapinch, who once tried to devour Branden when he wondered off his Trainer out of curiosity. As a Trapinch, Franklin liked to use his Dig to prank Max and his other teammates with trap holes for them to fall into. Now as a Flygon, he became more serious and modest upon his evolution, yet his kind and humorous personality is well kept all these years. Franklin is also one of the aerial mounts Max ride on in the air.

William (威廉)
Species: Mewtwo
Gender: Male
Ability: Pressure/Insoenmia (Y Mega ability)/Steadfast (X Mega Ability)
Nature: Quiet, Mischievous
Held Item: Wise Glasses/Mewtwonite Y/Mewtwonite X
Learned Moves: Phystrike, Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball, Recover
Regional Team: Johto/Kanto
Summary: Max's trump card and his strongest Pokémon. William joined Max after a fierce battle between the two in 2008 during Max's journey in Kanto. He is the very same Mewtwo who barely escaped Sird's petrification in Sevii Island and one of the legend in Pokémon Adventure. Initially he was enclosed to himself and avoids any social contact. However, things changed after Luther (Max's Lucario) joined the party. Luther, with his coincidentally similar Aura wavelength, helped Max opened William and changed his stone cold personality. William is a quiet Pokémon with few words. His ignorant appearance and sarcastic choice of words often make others think him a jerk. Yet he likes to help other Pokémon as mush as he can if he sees one, and believes the strong must defend the weak. His distrust to other human still exist, however, but at least Max is already on top of his short trustee list after 6 years of companionship. Luther and Branden are his best friends and partners in combat.

Davenport (達芬伯特)
Species: Greninja
Gender: Male
Ability: Protean (Hidden ability)
Nature: Rash, likes to thrash about
Held Item: Expert Belt
Learned Moves: Dark Pulse, Extrasensory, Ice Beam, Surf
Regional Team: Kalos
Summery: Davenport is the newest addition to Max's team. Max found him drifting aimlessly in Lumiose City as a Froakie, apparently abandoned by his original Trainer. Despite of having some abandonment issues, he is still very optimist and hard working to work his role in the best home he thought he had stayed in. Davenport is like a SEAL in Max's team. With his Protean ability, he has extremely large adaptability to handle any opponent who might render him in type disadvantage. He is daring to take action, yet rational when making decision. He preferred to work alone, but he still has impressive teamwork skills. He is also one of the most sociable in Max's team.

Silver (銀)
Species: Sylveon
Gender: Male
Ability: Pixilate (Hidden ability)
Nature: Calm, take plenty of siestas
Held Item: Quick Claw
Learned Moves: Hyper Voice, Shadow Ball, Psyshock, Calm Mind
Regional Team: Kalos
Summery: Max received Silver as an Eevee left behind by his grandmother as she passed in 2013. She used to cherish Silver very much, with a light problem of being mistaken as a girl by her ever since she got him. The gender confusion got worse when he accidentally evolved to a Sylveon, as Max tries to evolve him into an Umbreon. He is somewhat naive and innocent with a cute appearance. He hates to be referred as a female and often turns ballistic when someone does. His name used to be Eve under Max's grandmother's care, Max changed it to Grant when he received him to fit the rhyming of Umbreon, and he changed it again to Silver after the accidental evolution to fit Sylveon's rhyming. The name was inspired by Silver, the Pokédex Holder, and interestingly Max was hesitant of using it. Sometimes Max would lend him to Silver the Dex Holder and the two seems to get along pretty well.

This is the biology of Max Cheng, my own ego inside my story or RP or some sort. Of course, some of them are true in real life and some of them aren't.

For example, There's no way a 10 year-old kid can create a world-wide airline. My family didn't even win a lottery once. My mom didn't become a Oriental Medicine Doctor until 2 years ago. Instead of moving to Japan in 2008, I actually moved to US in 2006.

Some other things in the bio are actually true. I really DO have Autism-Asperger in real-life. I am an aviation expert. 鄭焯昕 is my real name in Chinese. And I really did lived in Taiwan most of my life.
