What would you do when...

Being Sick

Literate Guy: Go to Sleep

Yellow looked at the thermometer with a worried face. 42.8℃, and that’s exactly what her body temperature is. She already know that she might be sick when she felt like her head was spinning this morning, but she didn’t speculate her fever would be this severe.

She placed the thermometer on the desk and turned to the kitchen, grabbed a handful of ice into a plastic bag, and head for her room. She put the bag of ice on her forehead and went straight to bed. Within minutes, she returned to the state she was about 20 minutes ago: fast asleep.

Looks like everything planned for the next 3 days are cancelled as far as Yellow is concerned.

Scientific Guy: See a (Chinese Medicine) Doctor

“39℃…” Max’s mother, Jackie, looked at the thermometer she just got from Green after she had the Trainer’s body temperature. “Not a bad fever, for starters, but how can you look like someone who should be in ICU?”

“I don’t know, you are the doctor, Jackie,” Green replied tiredly and impatiently. Green’s face looked very pale for a minor cold. His face looked like he hasn’t been slept for days and he can pass out literately at any moments.

Jackie shook her head when she glanced at his face and tongue. “Any other symptom? Like coughing, powerless, nausea, anything?”

“No coughing, but I feel like crap this morning so yes for nausea, a bit dizzy, headache, sneezing…” he sniffed his nose in the middle of his sentence. “…and that’s about it, I guess.”

“Uh-huh…” Jackie wrote the symptoms on her notepad along with the prescription she already came up with for her.

“Are we done yet? ‘Cause I need to head back to the gym…”

“No, you are not,” Jackie interrupted Green as she torn the paper from her note pad and handed to Green. You are going home and rest with these prescriptions of herbs. I can get them for you if you don’t know how to handle them.”

Green groaned. He mumbled to himself in his mind that he’s gonna return all this favor to Red because it was the Fighter’s fault that get him into this pot hole in the first place.

Sporty Guy: Hang On With Guts

“Are you alright?” Green looked at his best friend with a concerned face. “Your face looked really pale, Red.”

“Just a minor cold, nothing serious,” Red said while sniffing his nose. Green put his hand on Red’s forehead and almost feel like it’s burning his hand.

“Goodness, it’s scorching hot! How can you feel nothing with that kind of fever?”

“It’s just a small cold,” Red tried to shake the sick feeling off. “My body is too strong for this little cold to make me—”

*A-a-achoo!!*

The loud sneeze had such recoil that sent Red’s head backward. When he got stabled and open his eyes. He saw Green’s face is covered with his snot and saliva.

“Arceus dammit Red! What the hell!?” Green shouted in disgust as he wiped his face with his shirt.

“Sorry…” Red sweat dropped.

Communication Method

Literate Guy: Letter

Sapphire sneaked into Ruby’s room unannounced and saw him sitting in front of his desk writing something. She sneaked closer and realized that he’s writing letters. She tipped her toes and looked over Ruby’s shoulder, trying to read what’s on the paper.

“Hey Sissy Boy! What’cha writing?” She asked, unaware of her megaphone-like voice.

Ruby jumped and turned around to her girlfriend, while putting the letter away. “W-when did you get in!?” he shakily asked.

“Can you please at least knock before you come in?”

“It wouldn’t be fun if you know!” Sapphire sneered. “By the way, what’s the letter for?”

“None of your business.”

“Tell me~”

NO!

Scientific Guy: Internet

Crystal and Gold sat across each other in the café for hours with two cups of coffee in front of them. Gold just looked around the café as Crystal was busy typing on her laptop working on her research paper.

*Ding dong!*

Crystal’s phone gave out a chime from her pocket that attracted her attention. She took it out and learned that she got a text message—from the very man who sat right across her.

Gold: “Hey Sexy”

Crystal looked over her screen, noticing that her boyfriend gave her a wink when her eyes met his. Crystal sighed and replied the message.

Crystal: “You do realize we sat across each other?”
Gold: “Yeah, but how can we talk with a laptop setting us apart?”

Crystal chuckled in her mind and closed her laptop. “Okay, Gold. What do you want?”

“Nothing, just wanted to look at your beauty face, that’s all,” Gold replied.

Sporty Guy: Shout Out

“HEY SHORTY! SUPER SERIOUS GAL IS LOOKING FOR YOU!”

Gold ended up running for his life with Emerald in pursuit, shooting mud at him from his E-Shooter, aiming for the Breeder’s head.

Eating Potato Chips

Literate Guy: Read the Label Behind

Platinum has been reading the package of the potato chips Diamond gave her for quite a while. Dia and Pearl sat next to her, enjoying their own bag of chips while Pearl curiously looked at Platinum, who hasn’t even open her bag yet. Much to Pearl’s surprise, Platinum actually was reading the package with a magnifying glass.

“Little Miss… what are you doing?” Pearl asked, tilting a brow.

“Oh, I’m trying to see as many information as I can about this bag of chips,” she replied. “The letter’s too small that I need a magnifying glass to read them.”

“Why would you do that?”

“Because I want to know exactly what chemical I’m consuming before eating them.”

Pearl found himself in loss of words because he doesn’t know why anyone would even bother trying to find that out. But knowing Platinum’s personality, he knows there’ll be no stopping her.

Scientific Guy: Calculate its Calories

Blue’s eyes has been switching back and forth between the bag of chips on her left hand and the calculator on her right. Tapping sound can be loudly heard from the calculator on her hand as she makes her calculation before eating them.

Fifteen minutes later she took out a scale and gently place the potato chips on it, piece by piece. After putting about 15 pieces of chips she looked at the scale with a satisfying face. However, before she start eating them, she gave out a long sigh as if those are the last chips she can enjoy in her life. She then reluctantly send those 15 chips into her mouth slowly one piece at a time.

Silver, having witnessed all this, had only one thing in his mind.

“Looks like Nee-san is in a diet again…”

Sporty Guy: Tear it Open with Sheer Force

Max walked into the kitchen only to find that Bosco holding two halves of potato chips package on his hands, looking at his older brother dumbfoundedly. Potato chips scattered all over the kitchen floor. And Victor was hovering near his Trainer, covering his mouth while looking at the post-apocalyptic scene.

“Really, Bosco?” Max asked impatiently, crossing his arms and tapping the floor.

“Whoops…”
