In Conversation: Extremely blunt and straightforward, literately speaks without thinking. Chinese is his first language, and sometimes mumbles it when thinking or irritated. Often speaks his mind when alone.

Battle Style: A straightforward brawler and a patient sniper, doesn’t like stat moves. Prefers a mid to long range combat despite being a Fighting-type. Adapted for both frontline combat and backline support, yet he prefers to fight frontline. Doesn’t like hand-to-hand combat yet he can utilize long-range attacks in close range, often with higher power output then attacking long range.

Prowess: A battle-enthusiast, yet he avoid unnecessary conflicts the best he can.

Strengths: Long-range attack, high agility, well-covered moveset.

Weaknesses: Close-range combat, low endurance.

Ability:
Justified—With his strong sense of justice, Max’s attack raises whenever a Dark-type move hits him during battle. His attack also raises gradually as he receives damage.

Move Set
• Aura Sphere
Max gathers a blue sphere on his hand with his aura, then propels it to any direction with his aura controlling it. He can gather one sphere on both hands and rapidly fires with 100% accuracy. Max’s signature move.
• Flash Cannon
Max gathers a silver sphere between his hands and propels it forward, which explodes on impact, releasing metal shrapnel that inflicts damage to any Pokémon within 3 ft of the impact zone. Its explosive nature and collateral damage means Max doesn't use it often.
• Psychic
Max uses his aura to achieve similar effect to psychic power. His eyes lights up with blue glow upon activation and able to utilize his aura to move objects like a Psychic-type. He can also fire a wave of psychic blast toward a single opponent as well. It requires extreme concentration and often exhausts his mind due to his typing.
• Dragon Pulse
Max puts his hand forward and fires a turquoise energy ray straight forward, inflict damage on anything in the line of fire. Has a huge knock back and can send him flying if use prematurely.

Max has Asperger. His social skill is significantly lower than most Pokémon around him, hence his low charisma stat. He can skillfully negotiate with his high intelligence makes up the void created by his low charisma. He values blitz tactic and invests mostly on power and speed with the scarification of his defense.

History
Pre-Initiation
Max came from Chino--a faraway country adjacent to Iapon with a great dream of traveling the world. He started his journey young as a Riolu and eventually evolved during his journey. He wandered into the fogged forest one day during his journey and completely lost his sense of direction. He found Andalusst using his aura just before he lost all his hope and decided to settle down in the city.

Joining
Knowing that he can’t explore the fogged area himself, he decided to permanently settle down and joined the Explorer’s Guild. The whole reason of joining the guild is to meet as many Pokémon as he can with similar expertise and chart the fogged area together, with the ultimate goal of clearing a safe path between the city and the outside world. Besides, his explorer’s instant tells him the fogged forest and the city enclosed by the city has many new adventures that satisfies his naturally curious nature.

Relationships
Wesley
A Rotom who is destined to ultimately solve Max's problem with Ghost-types. He escorted Wesley himself in Errand 11 and took him in as a part of his team and his best friend.

Derek
The newest member of the team with deep past with Max. He is Max's old friend and former partner before Max stumbles into the fog.

Trivia
-Max learnt Aura Sphere as a Riolu.
-He's a good runner, but jumps horribly and has low stamina.
-Often misunderstands the meaning of a joke, or simply can't take one.
